Increasing productivity in dairy farming

The purpose of the experiment was to determine the most profitable way to use the bioproduct BIOCHLOFEED to increase the productivity of dairy farming and obtain finished products of high taste and quality.

The objectives of the experiment included:

  • To determine the effect of the bioproduct BIOCHLOFEED on additional milk yield and fat content of cow's milk;
  • To determine the effect of the bioproduct BIOCHLOFEED on the feed conversion ratio in dairy farming.
  • To determine the effect of the bioproduct BIOCHLOFEED on the general physiological condition of dairy cows.

Description of the experiment

The effect of the bioproduct BIOCHLOFEED on milk productivity and milk fat content was studied on cows with type III lactation. To conduct the experiment, we formed 2 groups using the analogue pair method (control and experimental), assigned to the same machine milking operator. The experiment lasted 78 days.

Cows of both groups received a basic diet, the energy and nutritional value of which corresponded to generally accepted standards. The cows of the experimental group were additionally added to the feed mixture with 1 liter of bioproduct BIOCHLOFEED per head and given daily in the evening 1 hour before milking.

Option one (Control):
40 cows were selected for the control group using the analog pair method.
Option two (Experimental):
40 cows were selected for the experimental group using the analog pair method.

Average daily
milk yield

The average daily milk yield at the beginning of the experiment in the control group was 21.4 kg, and in the experimental group 20.5 kg. At the end of the experiment, the average daily milk yield in the control group was 29.5 kg, and in the experimental group 38.8 kg.

Antipathogenic activity

Physiological
condition of cows

The percentage of milk fat at the beginning of the experiment in the control and experimental groups was the same and amounted to 3.7%. At the end of the experiment, the percentage of milk fat content in the control group was 4.0%, in the experimental group - 4.6%.
Antipathogenic activity

Physiological
condition of cows

At the end of the experiment, the cows in the experimental group were in better physiological condition than the cows in the control group. They were more active, recovered faster after calving, and ate food better.

Main conclusions:

Thus, the use of bioproduct BIOCHLOFEED in dairy farming allows:

  • Increase milk production by 30% or more;
  • Increase the fat content of milk by 15%;
  • Reduce the feed ratio by 29% or more;
  • Significantly strengthen the immunity of cows;
  • Improve the general physiological condition of cows.
